Features
Create pipeline
This command allows you to create a pipeline in the same way that we create a polyline with Rhino3D. The elbow's directions are displayed dynamically.
Connect
Connecting two components means connecting their two connection circles. The compatibility will concern only the connection circles. It will then be possible to take into account the other attributes (such as the material or the type of fluid).
Cut a pipe
The user selects the pipe to cut and chooses the place where the pipe is to be cut. The dimensions between the point and the closet end are displayed dynamically.
Stretch
This command allows to stretch, shorten one or several pipes or elbows.
Delete Connections
The user chooses the element that he wants to isolate. All the connections of this element are deleted. There are no geometrical transformation.
Insert components
This command consists in insertion a component in the pipeline. When the command is launched, a window opens and allows the user to choose the component which he wants to insert.
The choice is made in a list where you have the name, the logo and characteristics of the components.
Slide a component along a pipeline
You can choose an component and put it in another place. The user has thus a more dynamic view of the component which allows him to place it more easily.
Rotate one or more elements of a pipeline
you can select a piping element and you can then rotate it around a connection axis .
